EIREA exists to give Europe's industrial and logistics property agents a professional standard, a shared register, and a designation that means something in every market. Industrial property is a discipline, not a category — and it deserves a body of its own.
What we do
We set the standard
A code of professional conduct, a specification for how industrial specialism is stated, and a designation — M.EIREA and F.EIREA — that a buyer can check.
We publish the numbers
The market's take-up, rents, vacancy and cross-border flows, reported for industrial property alone. The reference the trade press quotes.
Governance
The board
Elected from the membership, with published terms of office and a published register of interests. Officers are named, with real roles and real accountability.
The code of conduct
Every member agrees to a code of professional conduct. We publish it in full, and we publish when it is enforced. An association that will not enforce its own standard is not setting one.
The accounts
Annual accounts, published in full. An association that collects subscriptions should account for them.
How the register may be used
The terms of access, the database-right notice and the privacy notice, all published in plain English rather than left for a lawyer to interpret.
Complaints
How to raise a concern about a member or a listing, what we do about it, and how long we take. Published, with the process the same for everyone.
Membership
Who may join, at what grade, what each grade requires and how a grade is earned or lost. No hidden criteria.
What we stand for
The specialist is recognised as the specialist.
Depth of specialism is a credential, and it should carry the weight of one. That is what EIREA is for: a register that verifies who does this work, a standard they are held to, and a mark that proves it.
Industrial property is a profession in its own right, and EIREA is its body in Europe.
